| General Information - The Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO) was
founded in 1998. Consisting of musicians from 26 countries, the MPO presents a wide variety of music programs. It performs around
100 concerts every season at its home, Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS, Kuala Lampur. International tours to date: Japan, Korea, Australia,

Al Payson is a retired percussionist with the Chicago Symphony
Orchestra and a member of the faculty of DePaul University.
Al Payson's Publications include Beginning and Intermediate Methods
for Snare Drum, Marimba/Xylophone and Bass Drum/Cymbals and Accessories as well as Etudes for Snare Drum. Most publications
come with accompanying CDs.
