This unique teardrop-shaped professional triangle beater is one of a kind! The Teardrop Pro-Triangle Beater’s shape allows for quick transitions between pianissimo and fortissimo triangle playing without changing the density of the sound due to a smaller beater. The innovative teardrop shape is also ideal in creating a smooth pianissimo to fortissimo roll. Further, the Teardrop Pro-Triangle Beater is perfectly balanced to offer excellent control in fast and slow passages.
The Teardrop Pro-Triangle Beater measures 9 1/2 inches. The beater is completely metal. The teardrop end is smooth and rounded and the handle has a textured pattern to enable a solid grip.
Sarah Basel is a professional percussionist in the Chicagoland area. She has a masters in percussion performance from San Francisco Conservatory where she studied with Jack Van Geem (principal of San Francisco Symphony). She also received a Bachelor of Music Education which enabled her to study with Ed Harrison (principal timpanist of Lyric Opera of Chicago) from Concordia University in River Forest, Illinois. Sarah has been both a performer and a music educator for the past 16 years.
