Rhapsody Percussion owner to star in Independent Film “Chi-Town Pulse”

Sarah Basel is starring in Chi-Town Blues; a short independent film created by Doug Operzedek and www.independentthinking.us.
Chi-Town Pulse is a short, fictional story that follows the lives of two characters and their personal struggles. John, a well-dressed, traveler with a love of blues music, dancing, women and booze, meets Sarah, a Chicago girl who has never experienced the blues dancing scene, until now.
When: Saturday, March 6, 2010
Time: Movie at 9pm, Music & Dancing from 10:00 pm – 1:00 am

Sarah Basel is a professional percussionist in the Chicagoland area. She has a masters in percussion performance from San Francisco Conservatory where she studied with Jack Van Geem (principal of San Francisco Symphony). She also received a Bachelor of Music Education which enabled her to study with Ed Harrison (principal timpanist of Lyric Opera of Chicago) from Concordia University in River Forest, Illinois. Sarah has been both a performer and a music educator for the past 16 years.
